It’s common for people to leave spare change in their car. However, to deter all chances of thieves it’s best to stow the money out of sight or leave it at home. It’s a good rule of thumb before any trip to remove excess items from your car before leaving it for an extended period.

2. Important Documents

You likely leave your registration and proof of insurance in your car. Other documents like tax forms, personal identification, and other valuable documents should not be left in your car.
